We have the first graduates who completed their studies within the project “Support of social and financial recovery of war-affected communities of Poltava region”.
In the summer of 2024, recruitment for specialized training for the unemployed began. Those willing chose the courses that suited them and the format of their course. Within a few months, they master new specialties: Internet marketing, web design, manicure and hairdressing and others.
Eight of them have already received certificates and diplomas confirming the acquisition of a new profession.
“The training took place in a very pleasant atmosphere, we studied on professional equipment. I am glad that everything worked out for me”, — project participant Victoria shared her impressions.
“Thank you for this opportunity. For the fact that together the organizers and the training center helped to realize my cherished dream,” said project participant Elena.
The rest will complete their training by the end of the month.
The initiative is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) and implemented by the NGO “Light of Hope” in partnership with JERU (Joint Emergency Response to Emergencies in Ukraine by the international NGOs Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide).
