It aims to draw attention to the rights of girls and to overcoming the discrimination and violence they still face.
Girls' clubs in Ukraine help girls and young women recognize their personal boundaries, build a sense of self-worth, discover their inner strength, and support one another. This autumn, 13 additional safe spaces of this kind were launched in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions—specifically in the Lozova, Chuhuiv, Pisochyn, and Romny communities.

These spaces are designed to provide support and foster informal interaction. In these clubs—free from tedious lectures—girls learn about their rights and the essence of gender equality, develop leadership skills, and grow into confident young women.
Are you looking for a safe space for personal growth and connection? Message us to join a club in your community, or fill out the form, and the space facilitators will be sure to get in touch with you: https://forms.gle/8hcDahxdR5j7hbcr5.
The project "Strengthening women-led response and prevention services at the intersection of gender-based violence and violence against children in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions" is being implemented by UNICEF in cooperation with the charitable organization "Light of Hope" and the NGO "Center for Euro-Initiatives," with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the German development bank KfW.
