Drivers and conductors of municipal transport of the Poltava community learned to provide first aid!

Two trainings were held for employees of the municipal enterprise "Poltavaeletroavtotrans". They mastered the skills of providing assistance to people with various types of bleeding, learned to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and ensure airway patency.

"These skills are important so that when identifying a victim, training participants know how to act correctly until the arrival of medical personnel. For example, elderly people travel mainly in public transport. If someone's well-being deteriorates sharply, there should be someone nearby to provide first aid," — noted Serhiy Zhuk, Chairman of the Board of the Light of Hope Non-profit Organization.

40 employees of Poltavaeletroavtotrans participated in the trainings.
"This is my first time participating in such an event. It was very useful. Professional trainer. Practice at the highest level. Maximum care for the training participants," - trolleybus driver Svitlana.
"I really liked the teacher's work, he explained everything clearly and intelligibly. Comfortable classroom and interesting teaching aids. Best recommendations," - engineer Bohdan.

The training takes place within the framework of the project "Creating Community Safety Together" and is implemented by the Light of Hope NGO thanks to the Ukrainian Rapid Response Fund program, which is implemented by IREX with the support of the US Department of State.
