We continue to work to ensure that as many people as possible have the knowledge and skills required for safe migration and employment.

Trainers for preventive activities of the Light of Hope NGO conduct information sessions, where they talk about the most common mechanisms for enslaving victims in situations of human trafficking or labor exploitation. They also explain what actions will help avoid such incidents and travel or work safely.
The meetings are taking place within the framework of the project "Ensuring a comprehensive response in Poltava region to protect victims of war-related violence, gender-based violence, human trafficking or exploitation". Trainers conduct info sessions in community centers, rehabilitation facilities, centers for assisting internally displaced persons and representatives of other communities. Informing primarily those who are currently in a vulnerable state, because this is what human traffickers usually take advantage of.

Since the beginning of the initiative, the trainers have organized about thirty info sessions and continue to work in this direction.
The project is implemented by the Light of Hope NGO within the framework of the Protection Program of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Office in Ukraine with funding from the Government of Sweden.
