In February 2022, Liliya Uskova lived on the top floor of a high-rise building in the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv. With the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the enemy heavily shelled this area. But Liliya and her family did not want to leave their home. Later, in the spring, unable to withstand the intense shelling, they moved to Myrhorod in the Poltava region.

This is not the first time the woman has been forced to leave her home, as she left Crimea in 2014 due to the security situation. In Myrhorod, she almost immediately planted grapes in her yard. To have her own income faster. And the next year, locals bought up huge bunches of sweet berries from her. And thanks to her victory in the WIWAT project (Women's Initiatives Work Adamant and Thoughtfully), Liliya was able to move from seasonal earnings to year-round earnings, making pastila from grapes and other fruits.
