271 consultations were provided to clients in October by specialists from the mobile medical team. They work in the Popivska community of the Konotop district of the Sumy region. Locals receive professional advice from a doctor, psychologist, and social worker free of charge. This support was made possible thanks to German and European investments aimed at helping war-affected Ukrainian communities.

During the month, the mobile team visited 23 settlements of the Popivska community in the Sumy region. The specialists have been working for almost a year, so in each settlement, regular clients come to them to report on the progress of treatment or adjust the appointment. Thanks to their feedback, new clients also come to the mobile team. There were 105 of them in October.

One of the team's important tasks is to promote mental health support. After all, prolonged stress caused by hostilities, shelling, separation from family, and so on can lead to many diseases. The mobile team's psychologist conducted 128 consultations to stabilize the emotional state, reduce anxiety, and fear of clients.

Citizens can get answers to questions about various types of social support from a social worker. She also assesses their needs and, based on that, creates an individual action plan to overcome the crisis.
People's reviews about the work of the mobile medical team specialists:
"They helped in a difficult moment, I'm grateful"
"I visited several times, received all the necessary help and support. Thank you for the quality services provided, the employees helped me figure out both my health and myself"

The project is implemented by the Light of Hope NGO within the EMPOWER project, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), co-financed by the European Union, and implemented by GIZ Ukraine.
