The bakery and the semi-finished products production workshop are a family business that Maria Kornienko from Kharkiv develops together with her relatives. The woman decided to open a business after the start of the full-scale invasion. She lost her job and was forced to move to Valky. She joined humanitarian aid to war victims, made new acquaintances and gained experience in interacting with non-governmental organizations. Maria decided to implement a long-standing idea, wrote and won her first grant project. First, the Bulkinska bakery in Kharkiv started operating. And thanks to the NIZHNA (Unbreakable Women's Initiative — Persistently and Actively) project from Svitlo Nadiya, the woman improved the production processes in the semi-finished products production workshop.
