The course participants had the opportunity to learn a new profession thanks to the project “Support for the Social and Financial Recovery of War-Affected Communities in the Poltava Region.” The training was organized to increase people’s competitiveness by giving them the opportunity to retrain for more relevant specialties.
At vocational school No. 26 in Kremenchuk, students master the following specialties:
- baker;
- mechanic for the repair of wheeled vehicles.

After successfully completing their studies, they will receive appropriate certificates confirming their qualifications.
In total, project participants study five specialties in educational institutions in Poltava and Kremenchuk.
The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Light of Hope NGO in partnership with JERU (Joint Emergency Response in Ukraine of international NGOs Welthungerhilfe and Concern Worldwide).
